Let the number of rs 5 coins be x.

according to the question ,Benzene has rs 2 coins of three times of no.of rs5 coins.i.e

= rs 2 = 3 × x = 3x

No .of rs 5 coins =5× x =5x

No.of rs 2 coins=3x × 2=6x

A.T.Q

= 5x + 6x = 77

=11x = 77

= x = 77÷11

= x = 7

hence, the total no.of rs 5 coins he has = 7

the total no.of rs 2 coins he has =3×7=21.

Hence,He has a total of amount rs 28 .(rs 21+rs7=rs28).
