Answer:

Shadows can change their size. As light moves towards the object, the shadow becomes larger. As light moves away from the object, the shadow becomes smaller.

Answer:

The shadow can always change its length, width and intensity (blur or sharp) according to the distance and position of the nearest light source. Sometimes, there can be multiple shadows of an object also (in case of multiple light sources near each other).

Explanation:

The shape of an object always determines the shape of its shadow. However, you can change the size and shape of the shadow. These changes are caused by the position of the light source.

When you're outside on a sunny day, you can see how the shadows change throughout the day. The  position of the sun in the sky affects the length of the shadow.

As the sun sinks below the horizon, the shadows lengthen. When the sun is high in the sky,  shadows are much shorter. You can create the same effect indoors by changing the position where the flashlight hits the object.

The shadow effect is the same, but the reason why the light source moves is very different. Creating long and short shadows indoors with a flashlight moves the light source. Outdoors, when the sun casts long and short shadows, it is the earth, not the light source (the sun), that is moving.
