   Harita haram is the state funded campaign and project spread over three to four years. Harita haram means necklace of greenery or covering the Earth with greenery.  So Telangana government wants to cover at least 34% of the land with greenery.

   A lot of money has been spent on this activity.  There are periodic reports in the news media about its progress.  All students in government or private schools are aware of the need for planting trees and saving plants.  Everyone knows that there is but one solution for dealing with many problems of deforestation.

   The Harita haram project is one year old. It is not yet over.  Hope that in two more years the government achieves its target. Then Telangana will become a model for other states in its true effort and sincere implementation of public safety and a future vision for a safe world.

    Best conclusion for Harita haram will be the results it brings about. The lowering of climatic temperatures, reduction in pollution levels, increase in general public health, increase in wild resources, and enhancement of wildlife and biodiversity.
