Best of luck solving this :)

Two positive integers are chosen .

Their sum is revealed to Iogician A and the sum of squares is revealed to logician B .

Both A and B are given this information and the information contained in the sentence.

The conversation between A and B goes as follows -

B starts -

B : I can't tell what they are .

A : I can't tell what they are .

B : I can't tell what they are .

A : I can't tell what they are .

B : I can't tell what they are .

A : I can't tell what they are .

B : Now , I can tell what they are.

( a ) What are the two numbers ?

( b ) When B says that he cannot tell what the two numbers are , A recieves a large amount of information .

But when A first says that he cannot tell what the two numbers are , B already knows that A can not tell that the two numbers are.

What good does it do to B to listen to A ?

a)

Their sum is revealed to Iogician A and the sum of squares is revealed to logician B .

=> The result of sum and square result of sum is revealed to appropriate logician, not the two numbers.

  • I have doubt, if someone have to share some information they say at Max 2 times, commonly.
  • Here the repetition is done. They made me more curious. It means, the repetition reveals the square of two numbers, as first started by logician B.
  • The logician A has finally guessed.

When B says that he cannot tell what the two numbers are , A recieves a large amount of information.

=> he received information means he guessed.

repetition of sentence:- I can't tell what they are. 4 times.

That means :-

Logician B:- 4 = 2² = (1 + 1)².

•°• LogicianA:- 2 = (1 + 1)

That means Two positive integers were 1 and 1.

_____________________________________

Note:- As logician B only has to gusse. He must be repeated due to repetition of Logican B.

Reason:- when A first says that he cannot tell what the two numbers are , B already knows that A can not tell that the two numbers are.

b)

=> Logician A must have to do something like logician B as in conversation. to determine something sign or clue.

Note: {we are Answerer we know both situation happened}
