because it contains mother root which gives strength to the entire plant
taproot is capable to fetch deep inside the soil so that it can absorb minerals and water in which are available deep inside the soil.example: mango tree,neem tree etc..
fibrous roots contain thin hair like structures which are very weak.it cannot penetrate deep inside the soil. so in the absence of water it may die very easily as it cannot absorb underground water.
