While in case of propanoic acid the carbon atom of the carboxylic group is attached with SP3 hybridised carbon atom hence the electronegativity of both carbon atoms are same so the removal of H+ ion becomes difficult. Hence Acrylic acid is more acidic than propanoic acid.
