Between an annual and perennial plant which one has a shorter juvenile phase give one reason

Perennial plants refers to those plants who have a life span for more than two years while annual plants refers to those plants which have a life span of only one year. As the annual plants have a shorter life span as compared to the perennial plants, it would have a shorter juvenile phase as well due to its short life span.
