Buddhism is a tradition that focuses on personal spiritual development. Buddhists strive for a deep insight into the true nature of life and do not worship gods or deities.

Buddhism is centered upon the life and teachings of Gautama Buddha, whereas Jainism is centered on the life and teachings of Mahavira.

Buddhism is not emphasizing his monks and laymen to be strict vegetarian like Jainism.

Hope it helps u.
