1. Concave lens : A concave lens is thinner in the middle and thicker at the edges . uses in glasses , spy holes in the door etc. It have negative focal length . It diverges the incidence Rays away from the princepal axis. The image formed is an upright ,virtual and smaller size then the object . The positive of the image formed is in between the lens and the object regardless of the object's position.

The image formed is interval , real and larger than the object when the object is placed between 2F and F . No image is formed when the object is placed at the focus (F). The image formed is the upright , virtual ,and the larger than the object when the object is placed of the same side of the lens.
