BF³ does not have proton but still acts as an acid and reacts with NH3. why?

boron trifloride acts as proton and easily can be combined with the NH3 molecule because the covalent bond form to support the BF3

We know BF3 is an compound which is electron deficient.hence it acts as Lewis acid .NH3 has lon pair of electrons.hence it will acts as a Lewis base .

There is a bond( coordinate ) is formed between them

H3N:____BF3
