Let's say  a = 72 m , b = 30 m and c = 78 m

We know Heron's formula is:

∴ S = $\frac{72 + 30 + 78}{2} = \frac{180}{2} = 90$

By using Heron's formula, we get

$Area = \sqrt{90 \times (90 - 72)(90 - 30)(90 - 78)}$

$\implies Area = \sqrt{90 \times18 \times 60 \times 12}$

$\implies Area = \sqrt{1166400}$

$\implies Area = 1080\:m^2$

Now,

If the cost of levelling 1 m² of the triangular land is Rs. 0.20

Then,

The cost of levelling an area of 1080 m² will be,

= Rs. 0.20/m² × 1080 m²

= Rs. 216

Thus, the cost of levelling a triangular piece of land is → Rs. 216.
