uninterrupted period of five years

will now be entitled for 

government bungalow

, car and other facilities for life. 

Rajasthan Assembly

 on Tuesday passed Rajasthan Ministers’ Salaries (Amendment) 

Bill

, 2017 along with Rajasthan Legislative Assembly (Officers and Members Emoluments and Pension) Act that paved way for increased remunerations to MLAs.


Provisions in the amended act will allow former CMs to have government residence either at district headquarter or at Jaipur. In case facility is not availed by ex-CM, government will reimbursed a fixed monthly amount.


Along with it they will be entitled for a state car for their own family use for journey within or outside the state. Facility of telephone and other means of communication too will be made available to the former CMs.
