भारतीय सैनिकांनी जेव्हा ते ठाणे ताब्यात घेतले तेव्हा त्यांना तो जखमी सैनिक दिसला. त्यांना त्याची ती जखमी अवस्था पाहून दया आली. त्यांनी त्याला पाणी पाजले नंतर त्याच्या जखमांवर मलमपट्टी केली. रात्र होताच तो जखमी जवान पूर्ण शुद्धीवर आला. भारतीय सैनिकांनी आपल्या अन्नातला काही भाग त्याला जेवायला दिला.
शत्रूकडून मिळालेल्या या चांगल्या वागणुकीचे जखमी सैनिकाला आश्चर्य वाटले व त्याने भारतीय सैनिकांना विचारले की, “मी तुमचा शत्रू मग तुम्ही माझ्यासाठी एवढे का केलेत ?" --- what do you mean by this in English???​

When the Indian soldiers captured the place, they saw the wounded soldier. They felt sorry for the wounded. They watered him and then healed his wounds. And when it was night, the wounded man came in full recovery. Indian soldiers gave him some food to eat.

The wounded soldier was surprised at this good behaviour from the enemy, and he asked the Indian soldiers, "Why did you do this to me, your enemy?"
