There are two cross-border trains that run between India and Pakistan.

The names of the trains are:

Samjhauta Express, which runs between Delhi in India and Attari, Lahore in Pakistan.

It is a twice weekly train, which runs on Wednesdays and Sundays.

Another train, relatively new is Thar Express’, which runs between Jodhpur in India and Karachi in Pakistan.

On a mutual agreement, the Samjhauta Express runs from beyond the borders of Pakistan and go to and fro twice in a week.

It runs from Amritsar to Lahore and goes for about 42 kilometres.

There are no stops for the train between the borders and it goes straight to Attari as it has been discussed by both the parties.
