E.V.M which stands for ELECTRONIC VOTING MACHINE is used to collect votes of public through elections, which held in India,being a democracy, in every 5 years.

EVM was first used in India on November 1998 on experimental basis, However not all the polling booth was equipped with EVM at that time as it was just an experiment. Only few polling both of Delhi, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan were selected for this experiment.
