During vaccinations, a very small amount of weak virus is put into the blood of a human being. The WBC then starts fighting against the virus and kills them. This helps in developing the WBC and making it capable to fight against the virus. Therefore, even when strong virus enters the blood, the WBC is ready to fight against them and kill the virus. This helps to prevent the disease.
