Solutions :-

We have,

Cost of an article is Rs 1215

Transportation charge = Rs 35

Cost Price (C.P.) = Rs ( 1215 + 35) = Rs 1250

Gain % = 60%

Let the Selling Price (S.P.) be x

Now,

S.P. = C.P. + gain % of C.P.

=> x = 1250 + 60% of 1250

=> x = 1250 + 0.6 × 1250

=> x = 1250 + 750

=> x = 2000

S.P. = x = Rs 2000

Hence,

The article sold at Rs 2000 to get 60% gain.
