Bhavnoor saw while doing activity in laboratory that the leaves other than green also have chlorophyll. Does photosynthesis takes place in these?

They have the green chlorophyll pigments along with the other pigments. ... The other pigments like the betalains and other type of chlorophyll pigments mask the green colour of the leaf.

Answer: Yes, non-green plants also have chlorophyll. It's just that the green colour gets hidden under other pigments of chromoplasts. Since they have chlorophyll, they can do photosynthesis. Example of one such plant is coleus. Hence, Bhavnoor is absolutely right,
