The substance A is ferrous sulphate . When it is heated ferric oxide ,sulphur trioxide and sulphur dioxide is formed . The colour of the gas sulphur trioxide is brown . Hence ,sulphur trioxide is B .
FeSO4-> Fe2O3 +SO2 +SO3
