Explanation:

lens formula

1/ f = 1/v -1/u

ho = 4cm

u = 20 cm

f = 10 cm

1/10 + 1/20 = 1/v

2/20 +1/20 = 3/20

3/20 = 1/v

v = 20/3

v = 6.6 cm

the image formed is 6.6 cm away from lens
