If he had lied on a single nail the pressure would have been more and the nail should have pierced his body.
we know that pressure decreases with increase in area. the bed of nails exerted very less pressure on his body so he withstanded it.
too many nails increased the surface area of contact which decreased pressure .



Rahul is an intelligent boy who is known to the science facts . He shares the same with his friend and does not want him to misunderstand concepts of science by considering it magic
