Bholi used to stammer. She was very shy. But after she joined school her teacher helped to change the direction of her life. She showered a lot of love and affection on Bholi and gave her a new hope. She assisted her in gaining confidence and faith in herself. She asked Bholi to give up all her fears. It was because of her guidance that Bholi developed her personality. After all this Bholi could face all the problems of life with courage and confidence.
Towards the end of the lesson, Bholi was referred to by her real name, Sulekha because she had grown wiser and more self confident. This was a result of her education and her teacher’s training. Her life showed that education was like a philosopher’s stone which could turn a base metal into gold.
