House of the building should have a proper base and should get a proper support from inside and outside. Also we should remember that from all the sites it should be balance so that it can start properly.
And in my opinion I will suggest that the base of the house should be enough broader that it is able to support it.
for Example
our ceiling fan . As such this ceiling fan has a broader base (roof) and you to broader base when earthquake comes it doesn't fall.
