Look at this sentences

→ The garden is cleaned by Ricky. (passive voice)

✷ Mahi is watering the plants.

→ The plants are being watered by her.

In all these sentences, the same message is given in two different ways that is first in the active voice and then in the passive voice.

✯ When the subject is the doer of the action (verb), the verb is in Active voice.

✯ When the subject is the receiver the action (verb), the verb is said to be in passive voice.
