u = 5 m/s

a = 1 m/s²

t = 5s

Using the second equation of motion ,

S= ut + 1/2 at²

S = 5×5 + 1/2 ×1×5²

S = 25 + 25/2

S= 50+25/25

S= 75/2

S= 37.5m

Therefore the distance covered is 37.5m
