Big sound is heard in bathroom than in living room

Have you ever tried talking on the phone whilst on the toilet? There's a definite "reverb" sound; that's basically a (very short) echo. The person on the other end knows!!

@Revo If you're interested in this topic, I believe the Sound Chapter of this book had all information.It's a government CBSE class 9th book so it is so it is not of that quality, but the language is very easy and it is fun to understand as it doesn't tell you all the high level stuff and keeps minimal.
