bike B is faster as it has a speed of 100 km/hr whereas bike A has speed of 96.66667 km/hr

tasneem2119: can you show steps
tasneem2119: how did you get 100
tasneem2119: and 96.66667
tasneem2119: pls explain well
tasneem2119: pls fst
Kaiwalya2712: speed of bike A=145/1.5=1450/15=290/3=96.666667
Kaiwalya2712: speed of bike B=200/2=100 km/hr
tasneem2119: thank you very much dear
Kaiwalya2712: you welcome
Kaiwalya2712: my pleasure

BIKE A
d1=145km
t1=1.5hrs
   =1.5*60
   =90min
BIKE B
d2=200km
t2=2hrs
   =2*60
   =120min

To find out which bike is faster we must compare their velocity

v=d/t

BIKE A
v1=145/90
v1=1.61m/s

BIKE B
v2=200/120
    =1.67m/s

Since bike B has a greater velocity it means that it goes faster than bike A

hope it helps :)

Anonymous: just letting you know I got the velocity in m/s but if you are comfortable with km/h please get the velocity in km/h :)
Kaiwalya2712: hey friend, you are too right but there is no need to convert time from hours to minutes
tasneem2119: hmm
Anonymous: To get velocity as meters/minute I have to. But it isn't wrong if you write it as kilometer/hour either.
