Solution :-

Let us assume that, speed of p is 40 km/h and speed of q is 50 km/h .

So,

→ Distance covered by P from A upto 11 AM = Speed * time = 40 * 1 = 40 km .

Now,

→ Distance left between them = 160 - 40 = 120 km

and,

→ usual speed of both = 40 + 50 = 90 km/h { Since in opposite direction. }

then,

→ Time taken by them to me et = Distance c o v e r ed / Usual speed = 120/90 = (4/3) hours = 1 hour + (1/3) * 60 = 1 hour , 20 minutes .

therefore,

→ There meeting time is = 11 : 00 + 1 : 20 = 12 : 20 PM (Ans.)
