Answer:

a) Let the no. of hours be x

. Hours 50. x. .

Earns 20000. 30000

So, 50 = x

20000 30000

We will do cross multiply now

→50×30000 = 20000×x

→ 1500000 = 20000x

→x= 1500000/20000

x= 75

So, He have to work for 75 hours to earn 30000.

b) Let he earn = Rs. x

So, Hours 50. 15.

Earns 20000. x

So, 50 = 15

20000. x

We will do cross multiply now

→ 50× x=20000×15

→50x = 300000

→x = 300000/50

x=6000

So, if he works for 15 hours he will earn Rs.6000
