hey dear here is ur answer
bile juice is essential for digestive system bcz it makes the acidic food coming from stomach alkaline so that pancreatic enzymes act on it.
•Bile salts break the fats present in the food into small globules making it easy for enzymes to act and digest them.

Answer:

  • Bile juice does not contain any enzyme yet it is essential for digestive system because it has a important function in making the acidic food that comes from the stomach alkaline.

  • The food in alkaline medium can be easily digested with the help of pancreatic juice that contains lipase and trypsin.

  • It also helps importantly in digesting fats into smaller globules.

  • Hence, it it has a very essential function for digestive system.

--------------------------------

The Digestive System:-

  • The digestion starts from the mouth and ends in the small intestine.
  • The food is broken down into small particles by the teeth in the mouth.
  • Then the saliva which contains salivary amylase produced by salivary gland converts the starch into sugar.
  • Then through oesophagus with the help of peristaltic movement, the food reaches to the stomach.
  • In the stomach, the gastric gland produces gastric juices which contains the enzyme pepsin that helps in the digestion of proteins.
  • The gastric glands also produces hydrochloric acid to make the medium acidic and help in the digestion of proteins.
  • It also produces mucus which is layered on the walls of the stomach to protect the walls from the action of hydrochloric acid.
  • Next, the food reaches into the duodenum that is the initial part of the small intestine.
  • Here, the food is mixed with the bile juice from the liver and the pancreatic juice from the pancreas.
  • The bile makes the acidic medium alkaline to the walls of the small intestine does not get affected and also helpthe digestion of food with the help of pancreatic juice.
  • The pancreatic juice contains trypsin and lipase. The trypsin breaks down proteins and lipase breaks down fats.
  • Then, further in the small intestine intestinal juices help in the digestion of food.
  • The carbohydrates gets converted into glucose, fats get converted into fatty acids and glycerol and the proteins at last converts into amino acids.
  • The villi in the small intestine help in the absorption and assimilation of of nutrients.
  • At last, the large intestine just absorbs the water and the waste material is further removed through the anus.
