....bill enered the gatebof mrs dunley,s house, he was surprised not to be find her working in her garden. she usually most afternoons there......the weather was fine. bill straight around to the house, thinking ............ she might be in the kitchen.the door was looked.............the curtains were drawn, puzzled , he returned to the front of house.............knocked on door.and/when/while/that/which/but. complete the following passage by supplying the correct linking word from tjose given in the list. you can use a word more than once.you need not use every word.

The door was locked AND the curtains were drown, puzzled, he returned to the front of the house AND knocked on the door
