\mathfrak{Answer:}

= 3 1/3 days.

\mathfrak{Step-by-Step\:Explanation:}

∵ Bindal can finish a work in 10 days.

∴ Bindal's one day work = 1/10th part.

  • Jindal is twice efficient than Bindal .

So Jaidal will do this work in 5 days .

∴ Jaidal's one day work = 1/5th part.

∴ ( Bindal + Jaidal )'s one day work  :

\tt{=\dfrac{1}{10}+\dfrac{1}{5}}\\\\\\\tt{=\dfrac{1+2}{10}}\\\\\\\tt{=\dfrac{3}{10}th\:part.}

\boxed{\boxed{\bold{So\:they\:will\:finish\:together\:in\:3\dfrac{1}{3}\:days.}}}

Solution :

Given that -

• Bindal can finish his work in 10 days.

• Jindal is twice as efficient as Bindal which means : Jindal can do the same work in half time means 10/2 = 5 days.

Now ,

Bindal's 1 day's work = 1/10

Jindal's 1 day's work = 1/5

Both , (Bindal and Jindal)'s 1 day's work :-

=> 1/10 + 1/5

=> 1+2/10

=> 3/10

Now , Together both Jindal and Bindal can finish the work in :-

=> 3×1/3 days.
