  1. Woolen clothes contains a large amount of trapped air. Since air is a bad conductor of heat it does not allow the body heat to flow out, as a result of which, we feel warm and comfortable.
  2. Cotton is not water proof but it can be water resistant. Cotton would absorb water and make us wet as compared to synthetic fibers.
  3. Synthetic fibres like Polyester catches fire very easily and melts. After melting It sticks to the body of the person wearing it causing severe burns. Hence it is advised not wear synthetic clothes while working in the Kitchen. Its advised to wear Apron or cotton clothes while cooking in Kitchen.
