There is considerable amount of moisture in the iron and coal ore due to washing and other factors and removing moisture from the ores is a big problem.
Research have led to discovering that cationic, anionic and non ionic surfactants can cause dewatering of iron and coal ore. The surfactants taken should be of bio degradable nation like poly ethylene oxide and cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide should be used isteade of sulphur compounds that causes harmful effects to surrounding.
