 The Biogas is an excellent fuel.

Two reasons are:

1. Biogas is a ‘renewable source’ of energy and its ‘calorific value’ is high.

2. It's a clean & secure source of energy which reduces soil & water pollution & prevents health problems.

 Compositions of Biogas are:  

• Hydrogen (H2)$-$0-1%

• Carbon dioxide (CO2)$-$ 30-50%

• Nitrogen (N2)$-$1-10%

• Methane (CH4)$-$50-75%

• Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S)$-$0-1%

• Oxygen (O2)$-$ 0-1%

• Carbon Monoxide (CO)$-$0-1%
