Tulsidas was a great poet, He wrote many poems in sanskrit, He was well-known poet in medieval times. He was a great devotee of Lord Shri Ram. Tulsidas had done a remarkable job in the field of sanskrit. he is best known as the author of the epic "Ramcharitmanas"(Sanskrit Ramayan) It is based on the life of God Lord Rama. He is also known as the composer of "Hanuman Chalisa".(A devotional hymn on Hanuman, the devotee of Lord Rama).
