she was a deaf girl who started learning music from royal academy of music in london at the age of 17 years. when she was 8 years old, when she was waiting to play the piano her mother called her by name , but she hadnt heard her mother voice and she didnt move . she tried to conceal(hide) her deafness from everyone . but later it was discovered she has lost her hearing capacity ,once a man named ron forbes saw her potential and told her to sense the tunes of music in some other way .
as evelyn couldnot hear but when we will see her playing a musical instrument we will shocked that how she has learnt to indentify her notes ,through her mind and body
• she gives free concerts in prisons and hospitals
• in 1991 she was presented with the royal philharmonic society prestigious soloist of the year award
•she also gives high priority to classes for young musicians
•she is an shining inspiration for deaf childrens
•she has prooved that when ur determined at your goals, even your disability cant stop you to touch the sky of sucess , society criticised, discouraged her but she prooved everyone wrong
