Biological control or bio control is a way of controlling pests and other insects by using other living organisms.

Farmers and growers are very well aware of the ways to develop a conducive environment for these natural enemies to grow and control the pest growth. For example, arthropods are used to control pest growth in farms and fields. Natural enemies of arthropods fall into three major categories: predators, parasitoids, and pathogens. Arthropods are grown among fields and maintain the pest growth under control by feeding on them and in return pose no threat to fields.

Bio control is another way to reduce the use of harmful pesticides and insecticides which are not eco-friendly and harmful to crops.
