The industrialisation of the world has led to increased quality of life of a human, but on the other side, it has its own potential hazardous adverse effects on the habitat and biodiversity.

Many animals are now extinct and over a 100 of species are now endangered, Biologist can save these endangered species by the help of assisted reproduction as this technique allows biologist to enhance the population of endangered species to a safer level with only a few animals in the start.

The methods involved in assisted reproduction included IVF(in vitro fertilisation), IUI (in utero insemination). These techniques will help propagate the endangered species and preserve the biodiversity and habitat.

Another method that can assist in protecting the endangered species is habitat manipulation and wildlife management areas in which endangered species are transferred to safer are, but these have a lesser role as compared to assisted reproduction.
