1)The basic essential activities performed by an organism to withstand its life are called as life processes. These include nutrition, respiration, circulation, excretion and reproduction. Organisms obtain energy from food to perform these life processes which are essential for survival.

2) Carbon

3)Nutrition

4) True

A plant that is not visibly growing is still alive, and some animals can breathe without visible movement. So using visible movement as the defining characteristic of life is not enough. Movements over very small scales will be invisible to the naked eye for example movements of molecules.

5)True ( not sure about this )

6)The food that you eat and the way that it affects your health.

7) The process by which living things produce energy from food. Respiration usually needs oxygen.

8) Excretion is this process of removal of wastes that are produced within a body.

9) In single celled organisms diffusion is sufficient to meet all their requirements of food, exchange of gases or removal of wastes but it is not in case of multicellular organisms.

10) ( Dont't know )

Hope this will help u
