Ans) BCG vaccine is given, when a person is suffering from "Tuberculosis".

2) What is immune system?

Ans) Immune system is a system of our body which protects us from various diseases- causing agents.It fight against pathogens and keep our body healthy.

3) Define congenital diseases ?

Ans) Congenital diseases are those types of disease which are present in someone's body from the birth. This is due to genetic abnormalities or metabolic disorder.

4) Write the symptoms when following organs are targeted by microbes :- a) lungs, b) liver and c) brain

Ans) a) Lungs - Cough, breathlessness, b) liver - jaundice and c) brain - headache, vomiting

5) What are communicable diseases ?

Ans) Communicable diseases are those diseases which can be transferred from infected person to healthy person, are spread through microbes. Eg:- Malaria, influenza.

6) Name the disease which cause swollen of gums?

Ans) Scurvy is a disease which cause swollen and bleeding of gums.
