- Heart present in a cockroach is neurogenic.
- Body cavity is known as Haemocoel. This Haemocoel is a perivisceral cavity which is filled with colourless blood
- This colourless blood is called haemolymph.
- In heart the alary muscle will contract the dorsal diaphragm ad became flat and pericardial functions to increases.
- Blood moving from the perivisceral sinus will enter into pericardial sinus through a pore of dorsal diaphragm .
- It is Dome-shaped where the blood from pericardial sinus is forced into the heart.
- Thus blood travels from valvular ostia and wish that the then the heart and aorta contract peristaltically.
