Bioprocess means the conversion of raw material into final product with the help of microbes. Final product is either primary or secondary metabolite.

Generally, bioprocessing requires a fermenter in which microbes are given optimum growth conditions so that they can convert raw material into final product through their biochemical-metabolic pathways.
