BIOT savart states that when electric current is passed through a conductor magnetic field produced around the conductor depends on the
1= length of the conductor
2= current through the conductor.
3= distance of the point from the conductor .
4= sine of the angle between the line joining the point of the observation to the length of the conductor .
APPLICATIONS -:
It is mainly used to measure the magnetic field around a conductor.
It's direction.
And magnitude of the magnetic field along with it's direction.
