Recruitment-wise Ag is better. Agricultural scientist recruitments, state govt etc. UPPSC advertises for BSc Ag passouts throughout the year, though vacancies are low in number. Btech Biotech will bring you no govt job, very less employability in private sector too.

If you want to stay in India itself then go for agriculture, else go for biotechnology also it has job flexibility than agriculture.. Always go for a wider stream like agriculture as you will get to learn lot of things in agriculture but in biotechnology there is less scope of career in it as compared to agriculture.
