As the number of animals are higher in forest so they tend to come to those farms and crops and destroy the fields

The destruction of crops is significantly greater in regions closer to forest patches because of the possibility of animals and birds entering and accessing the agriculture land for food is higher. This drives to the damage of harvest fields.

Another feasible idea for the entrance of forest mammals into the settlement is due to the ecosystem loss which caused due to deforestation because more and more forest land are coming under construction sites which results in the loss of natural habitat for animals.
