To find : the number of birds on either side​

Solution:

Let say number of Birds on SideA  = A

Birds on Side B = B

A + 2 = 2(B - 2)

=> A + 2 = 2B - 4

=> A = 2B - 6

B + 2 = 2(A - 2)

=> B = 2A - 6

=> A = 2(2A - 6) - 6

=> A = 4A - 12 - 6

=> 18 = 3A

=> A = 6

B = 2A - 6 = 6
