Bismillah Khan was great flutist, he represents India's communal harmony. His whole life is a picture of inter community faith, tolerance and religious harmony. He used to play Shenai on the Ghats and Hanuman Temple, he gave respect to. Hindu deities,and on the day of Muharram procession he played Shenai for hours and hours. He accepted that Hanuman Temple and Ghats were major breakthrough in his life, it gave him fame and respect. He is true representative of "Ganga Jamuni" culture of India.
