Black is a color and white is also a color, but black and white television is not a color television. Discuss.

If black is a colour, white is a colour then why black & white television is not a colour T.V ? ... In pigment, all light being absorbed is black. All light being reflected is white. In transmitted light, no light transmitted is black and all colors of light transmitted is white.
