Solar cookers .

The solar cookers are painted black so that heat can be absorbed in great quantity in less time.

Terrace floors are painted white or any light color.
This is done so to reflect most of the heat so that the roofs and the rooms of the house stay cool .

Hope This Helps You!

All objects with a temperature above absolute zero (0 K, -273.15 oC) emit energy in the form of electromagnetic radiation. A blackbody is a theoretical or model body which absorbs all radiation falling on it, reflecting or transmitting none.
